Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering

The aim of the Master program is to provide a multidisciplinary post-graduate training in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.

Regenerative medicine encompasses many areas of life science and medicine and this Master represents a unique opportunity for in-depth research into innovative and specialized areas of stem cell research and tissue engineering technology, ranging from in vitro and pre-clinical models to clinical applications.

In addition, considering that Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) are expected to have a considerable impact on medical practice, and that the regulatory core is evolving accordingly, principles of pharmaceutical quality assurance and regulatory affairs will also be provided.

Ethics, safety, quality and efficacy requirements will also be presented and the steps from basic science to clinical trials going through translational research will be clarified also from competent authorities’ point of view. In addition, an insight on market access and business opportunities for regenerative medicine will be provided.
